Ministries

The following is a partial and growing list of the ways in which God is using View Crest to glorify Himself in all that we do…

Sunday School, Sunday morning, 9:45 am.

We provide an opportunity each Sunday morning for God’s people of all ages to study in-depth the living and active Word of God.

Sunday Worship, Sunday morning, 11 am.

Believers of every generation join together in unity to lift their voices in praise and hear God speak through His Word.

Prayer

At the heart of all we do is a dependence on the God who answers prayer. At each of our Bible studies, during special seasons of prayer, and each Sunday morning before worship even begins, we pray that God might work mightily in and through us.

Choir

Giving testimony to the greatness of God, our choir seeks to minister to us and aid us in worship at various times throughout the year.

Bible Studies

In addition to personal study of God’s Word, we seek to glean God’s wisdom from His Word as we meet together with one another in prayer, fellowship and study of the Bible.

Women’s Bible Study - Wednesday, 10 am.
Men’s Bible Study - Saturday, 8:00 am.

Men’s Leadership Training

Men’s Leadership Training seeks to develop men as pastors in their home and leaders in the church. Whether you are a father, a husband, a church leader, or an employee, God calls you to take leadership in His name.

Home Fellowship Groups

Through home Bible studies, we aim at developing community and intimacy with God and one another.

Missions Council

We work together to make certain that we are reaching as many as we can both in our neighborhoods and throughout the world.

Training Parents

Each year we apply God’s eternal wisdom to our homes. Whether you are raising children now or your grandchildren are all grown up, you know the tremendous responsibility we have to them and you will find our parenting studies an important part of learning to walk with Christ.

Harvest Party

Each October, View Crest offers a family friendly option to Halloween. Whether bobbing for apples or singing hymns around the bonfire, this is a wonderful time to develop Christian community and give glory to God.

Art and Music Camp

Summer camp never looked or sounded so good! Art and Music Camp provides an opportunity for children ages 5-12 to study music and art under some of Pittsburgh’s most gifted artists and musicians.

Teen and Parent Engage

Say “so long” to dropping off your teens for yet another evening involving whip cream and watered down Bible study. Engage challenges our young adults, and their parents, to rise above Evangelical mediocrity and get on with serving Jesus with our lives.
